To help – Find stuff in the grocery (or any?) store. Find stuff that's in one place in one store, but in a different place in another store. Find if the store even carries what you're looking for. Find similar (better, cheaper?) stuff.

To help – Inform users the remaining battery life of their laptop and other mobile devices without the user turning "on" (or activating) the device. Also alleviates the complexity of finding out remaining battery power in many device UIs.

To help – Locate a "lost" TV Remote Control. I'm forever trying to find the TV remote control, in particular after the kids watched TV. It usually turns up under furniture, under cushions or somewhere in the corner underneath some magazines, but it takes ages to find.

To help – Find applications quickly, download them, install them(maybe) and keep track of serial keys. Avoids you having to get a credit card out every time you want to buy software, just enter a password and you've paid for it. Helps small software companies making a great product get recognized.
